Juicy news about this years’ Halloween party at Fraiser’s, thanks to Cassie and her incessant babbling. Carter was dressing up as a bunny. His brain refused to process the thought. Fluffy round tail, floppy ears…black tight suit, stiletto heels…and the fit, slender body beneath it. Oh, and wiggling butt.
Maybe Carter did have an unknown side.
Until now, his choice for a costume had been his fishing hat and boots. But this had definitely changed everything. He rented a magician suit. With a hat. So maybe he’d have an excuse to stick with her all evening. Every magician has a bunny after all.

Her face was cute and kissable, but that wasn’t the point.
She was a goddamn gigantic stuffed bunny.
Cassie passed them by and stuck her tongue out at him.
