Heart-breaking, and yet, timeless at the same time. Daniel and Elizabeth compliment each other so well; you've conveyed that beautifully. I adored your environment description, emotional play between these two, and the bittersweet ending.

I'm glad you didn't just conveniently "forget" Simon; it's refreshing to read that he does have an impact on Elizabeth's life. Besides that though, I adore the romance you've developed between these two. They've got a great humor byplay between them and some wonderful passion at the end.

I like to think of this fic as showing us something that will come to fruition in the future. They may not be able to get together now, but later, oh yes they will. This shipper firmly believes that! :)
